The false panel system is used with fabrics for roller blinds and can be made in various forms. Often the products are made in shape, but triangular and other design options are also possible. The curtain panel can be assembled in two versions: The first type consists of two aluminum strips and fabric between them. It is standardly made in the form of a rectangle but can also have more fancy shapes. At the edges of the system there are clamps to hold the strips with fabric in the plane of the window. The clamps are mounted on the window frame using self-tapping screws. The design of the false panel is removable, which allows you to remove or partially move the fabric to increase the lighting in the room. In the second type of system, a special top strip with Velcro is used, and a counter strip is installed in the lower part to secure the product. In this version, the fabric can be easily removed to wash the window or open a light opening. When ordering a false panel system of a non-standard shape, the cost is calculated individually depending on the size and complexity of the product. Pros and cons of false panels: - Does not have controls, this system is not equipped with control and opening mechanisms, therefore this type of product cannot be opened using a chain like classic roller blinds. - Low cost relative to classic roller blinds. Due to the absence of control mechanisms, the cost of the system is significantly reduced. - Suitable for installation on roof windows and other types of windows installed at an angle. - Installed on sashes with a limited opening angle or on fixed windows. In
some cases, the window opens only 90 degrees and the sash rests on the slope; in this case, when installing classic roller blinds, the cornice at the top of the system reduces the opening angle of the window, so it is recommended to use a false panel with a more compact mechanism and maintain the functionality of the opening sash. In addition to roof windows, false panels are also installed on balcony transoms; these are wide but low windows that are located above the sashes. Often, transoms do not have the ability to open, so they are easily closed with false panels. An example of such use is curtains on a balcony block; additional transoms are often made at the top of the balcony, which are ideally covered with false panels made of the same fabric as on the shutters; this allows you to cover all light openings in the same style using roller blinds. An approximate analogue of a false panel is the DUO day-night system; it is made without the use of control mechanisms, but is used exclusively with day-night fabrics, which allows you to close transoms in a similar way but with the use of day-night fabrics.
